Hi, I’m Cassie

I’m a wife, a mother, and a woman learning how to live in the tender middle; the space between what was, what could have been and what will be.

This space has held deep joy and deep sorrow. It has held the sacred ordinary days of marriage and motherhood, and it has held grief that reshaped my heart forever. I have learned that both can exist at the same time. Light and darkness. Ashes and beauty. Holding on and letting go.

The Tender Middle is where I write about that in-between — the quiet mornings, the long nights, the stretching seasons, and the steady faithfulness of God through it all. I believe sacredness isn’t only found in milestones or miracles, but in the small, unfolding moments of our everyday lives.

Here, you’ll find reflections on motherhood, marriage, grief, hope, and becoming — not from a place of arrival, but from right here in the middle.
